Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPS yang rata rata memperoleh nilai dibawah KKM yakni 59 pada materi ragam budaya Brebes, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keefektifan media audio video ragam budaya Brebes dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan True Eksperimen Design dengan desain Pretest Postest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah SD kecamatan Tonjong dengan sampel kelas IV SD Negeri Tonjong 04 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SD Negeri Pepedan sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 16 siswa dan kelas kontrol terdiri dari 10 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji T.Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) Media audio video ragam budaya brebes efektif digunakan untuk mengningkatkan hasil belajar IPS di kecamatan Tonjong
